Santa Rita Records adds Bus Driver

We supplied Santa Rita Records with a McLoone Bus Driver, as they were always on the lookout for vintage hardware to get a unique sound. Their collection of analog outboard processing is extensive. Not to mention the beautiful historic building and national park in which the studio is built, just outside of Barcelona. 

“It's true that I have other options for output transformers (those from my old Trident Series 80 and a couple of vintage Scully preamps that came out of a tape recording machine that are loaded with several UTC transformers).

I've found that Bus Driver adds more clarity, more definition in the treble than my Trident option for example, which sounds a bit darker and muddier. I send you my congratulations for your quality and useful products.

I think this could be well received by my regular clients, who come to my studio to record their songs and projects but take the tracks (stems) to their less analog-equipped studios where they do their mixes and this would make a lot of sense to them since they don't have analog consoles.”
